The plot is that there are a series of reports of
missing school girls in an area in England, which is quickly introduced to the
audience by the use of non-diegetic sound from the car radio. The opening scene consists of a car going up a hill with trees on
either side which emphasizes the mystery and isolation of the character driving.
We have related it to the ‘Shining’ which has a similar opening scene. A hooded man will then turn on the radio to
hear a report on the continuing search for a missing school girl whose
disappearance is thought to be linked to previous kidnappings of school girls
whose dead bodies were all found in abandoned garages around the county. The shadowy
hooded man will be shown pulling his car into a well hidden garage. The
following scene reveals a girl tied up in the boot of his car with a pillow
case over her head. She will be panicking and reluctant to co-operate but is
surprisingly quiet. We then see the hooded man slowly walk back towards his car
to reach, at which we get a clear view of his figure with a mid-shot. Then an
important moment is emphasized with a close up shot of him reaching for a hand
gun in his car door. The hooded man then without seconds pause walks up to the
girl and shoots her head.
