Questionnaire

We created the questionnaire after having had a group discussion and asking friends what genre of film they enjoy watching. The people asked were in the age range of 15-18 and the results showed that Thriller was the most popular. We established who our target audience was and then decided to make a film classed as a 15 certificate. The reason we questionned people before creating the questinnaire was because we wanted to make the questionnaire specific to what we wanted to know in order to create a production that we know has a guaranteed audience. This was possibly one of the most helpful responses we got back, from a 17 year old girl. Interestingly when we verbally questionned people on the spot on whether they would prefer a male or female pratogonist, 9 out of the 15 said female. As only 6 girls were questionned we were surprised with this result, however we stuck to what we felt was most suitable for the role of the character, which was a male. I believe that the feedback really helped us a great deal and collectively we did a great job grabbing ideas and putting others aside.


The elements we adopted in our final piece were scary music, Unexpected scenes, Gore, Mystery and Death. These elements were mixed into our opening scene to achieve the expectations of a thriller as well as making the audience scared or mystified. On the other hand we also made sure not to
